The foundation degree in Integrated Practice is an exciting collaboration between Southport College and Edge Hill University and the Greater Merseyside and West Lancashire Lifelong Learning Network.
The programme will provide you with the opportunity to participate in delivering health and social care services to children or young people as part of the expansion and improvement to services, set out in the Government’s Every Child Matters: Change for Children Strategy.
Your skills will be developed to help deliver an integrated service to these groups of young people in settings such as schools or community centres.
This course will appeal to you if you work, or would like to work in the voluntary sectors, schools or children’s centres, nurseries, as well as nursery nurses, play leaders or support workers who seek profession development for career progression.
A placement is a compulsory part of the course. If you are already working in one of the above sectors, this would normally be with your current employer.
