


Access to Higher Education Diplomas are designed for students aged over 19 who want to take their career in a new direction by building up relevant subject qualifications at a level which is equivalent to GCSE and A Level standard. The Access to Higher Education Diploma courses last for 30 weeks over one academic year.
The course will give you a QAA recognised Access certificate which can be used as an entrance qualification for related University courses.
The programme will allow you to develop writing, research and analytical skills which will be useful when you progress on to your chosen University and career pathway.
There is a range of specialist pathways available which students can enrol on and will allow you to progress on to particular professions and university.
Previous Access to Higher Education students have been able to develop careers in areas such as; Teaching, Physiotherapy, Midwifery. Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Social Work and many others.
