Students waiting to receive their A-level results should consider Southport College for Higher Education this September.

With places still available on a variety of Higher Education courses it's not too late to apply to Southport College.

Higher Education courses on offer at our Mornington Road campus include BA Hons in Fine Art, Access to HE Diplomas in Teaching, Business & IT, Social Sciences, Health Professions and more.

If you have not yet made a decision about what you would like to do after receiving your A level results, have not yet got a university place or want to go to university but don't have the right qualifications then come in and have a chat with us to find out more about the College and the courses on offer.

Robin was a student on our Access To HE Diploma in Social Sciences course. Before starting the course he had been working and volunteering abroad while travelling. Prior to that, Robin had served in the army and worked in several sales environments.

Talking about the course, Robin said "Despite always having a job, I never felt like I had found a potential career, I hope a degree will help me find this. The transition back in to study was made painless by all the staff at the College, from clerical to faculty. The College has also made all the financial aspects of returning to study simple.”

He went on to say “I didn’t consider returning to study an option due to my lack of qualifications from school. Now, thanks to the Access Course and everyone at Southport College, I am about to start a degree in Criminology and Sociology at the University of Liverpool with a view to a career in the Criminal Justice System.”
