School Liaison

Southport College works in partnership with schools, Connexions and other colleges to raise awareness and knowledge of Further Education (FE).

We aim to ensure that young people are aware of their options after school and offer a range of activities, workshops and presentations for them to experience, designed to help them with these decisions.

Activities are available in a variety of subject areas, with some taking place in school and some at College. We can also tailor-make activities to suit your needs and welcome your suggestions in making these as useful as possible.

Throughout the year we attend a number of school events from careers fairs to parents’ evenings. We are always delighted to support your events in school, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.

We encourage all potential students to attend our open events, they are the perfect opportunity to get a feel for the sort of college we are. Your pupils can come and have a look around, talk to tutors and students and check out our facilities.
