Advanced Diploma in Engineering Level 3

The Advanced Diploma in Engineering opens up the ideas and concepts behind engineering and how they impact on the modern world and will introduce you to key engineering principles such as design, materials, electronic system, manufacturing and maintenance.

What will I study?

You will study a range of subject areas, including:

How long is the course?
Two years, full-time

How will I be assessed?

You will be expected to complete set assignments, projects and do personal research throughout the course of your studies, this work will be completed in class. Two of the units are externally assessed.

What qualification will I gain?
Advanced Diploma in Engineering

What can I do when I complete the course?
On successful completion of the course you may progress onto to university to study a specific vocation such as mechanical, electronic, electrical, design and civil engineering. You may also progress on to employment in one of a number of technology-based industries or join the RAF, Army or Royal Navy.
